We are pleased to announce that Eleanor Stokes has returned to the helm of the training band! She helped out at, and led, the training band for over 10 years, then she took a well earned break for a couple of months before returning this month to lead it once again.

Eleanor did a music degree then a PGCE and has spent the last 7 years as a primary school teacher! 

The training band is open to anyone who would like to learn to play a brass instrument - young, old or somewhere inbetween! They rehearse at the Ripon City Band bandroom on Tuesday nights 6:30-7:15. This is the perfect time to join - with current members going to University there will be some vacancies.
